Muḥammad Idris ibn Muḥammad Ismail Siddiqi Kandhlawi was a Deobandi Islamic researcher especially known as a researcher of hadith and tafsir (exposition of the Quran). He held the post of Shaykh at-Tafsir at Darul Uloom Deoband in India and later relocated to Pakistan where he filled in as Shaykh al-Hadith wat-Tafsir at Jamia Ashrafia Lahore.
